Given the rather mediocre weather at the end of the year, we organised a small karting competition on 16 December to satisfy the need for driving thrills in a friendly and convivial competitive atmosphere.
This brand new event gave participants the chance to test themselves against their peers in completely different race conditions. This enabled everyone to see whether the speed and agility on a Onewheel was also being demonstrated in karting. The answer is just one click away.
The latest race of the European One Wheel League (EOL) was held in the magnificent Algarve region, near Albufeira, from 2 to 3 October (OWAR), just before the beautiful Tour of the Algarve (OWAT), which took place from 4 to 9 October.
The 2023 course was long and varied, with numerous technical obstacles enabling the most agile competitors to stand out from the less daring. The international participation was massive and the level absolutely fantastic. An ideal way to end the season on a high note!
The Belgian round of the European One Wheel League (EOL) was held in Oignies-en-Thiérache from August 25 to 27, and counts towards qualification for ‘Race for the Rails 2024’ in the USA.
This brand-new course was by far the longest of the championship and very demanding, giving pride of place to demonstrations of board power and rider skill. Participants from abroad confirmed their ambitions to take top podium places.
In any case, this brand-new Belgian edition demonstrated that the Skrrrt.eu team was capable of organizing and hosting what was probably the greatest weekend of the 2023 season.
The Swiss round of the European One Wheel League (EOL) was held in Flims from June 10 to 11, and counted towards qualification for ‘Race for the Rails 2023’ in the USA.
The 2023 course was short and very demanding, with plenty of fast starts. International participation was once again in evidence, with the qualifiers hotly contested and the overall level of competitors being very high.
It’s obvious that practice intensifies and the discipline is gradually but surely becoming more professional. It’s a beautiful evolution that’s very promising.
