Initiation course

We make the Onewheel™ experience easier for you.

Thanks to our coaches and network of ambassadors, we can offer introductory sessions open to anyone who wants to learn the basics of Onewheel™ driving.

A range of introductory sessions are offered throughout the year, from April to September or even October, depending on weather conditions and the availability of coaches.

Choose the package that best suits your interests and level of experience. Introductory sessions are especially recommended for people new to the Onewheel™.. So they can learn the basics in complete safety from an experienced person who can reassure them and help them to progress quickly.

We’ve designed different types of session to suit everyone, whatever their starting level. Don’t hesitate to contact our coaches if you have any specific needs. They will be delighted to help you.

How an introductory course works

Each session normally takes place as follows:

  • We start with a safety briefing;
  • The main characteristics of the board are then presented;
  • The different driving techniques are then explained;

The aim is to learn in a safe and friendly environment. From balance and posture to speed control, advice and coaching during the session will help you quickly master the basics.

What type of clothing and equipment do I need?

The price of the lessons includes the rental of the Onewheel and a roller-skate or bicycle helmet. Knee pads, elbow pads and/or wrist guards can also be provided.

We advise you to bring your own helmet if you have one and to wear trousers to minimise the risk of scratches (should you fall off the board).

Although Onewheel riding is fairly safe, it is important to remain cautious and to prioritise safety. As the saying goes: better safe than sorry.
